Qualified candidates must possess an Associates Degree in
Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a Child related area, or a Child
Development Associate Credential and two (2) years of experience related to the
caring of children.
Lead Teacher for Infants and Toddlers must have at least
one year of specific experience and/or training with six (6) week to three (3)
year olds.
Authorized Background Check for Child Abuse and Neglect
from NYS Department of Social Services, along with Pre-employment physical and
TB Test.
Fingerprinting by NYS.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Must read, write and speak English
General Duties:
 | Daily planning and execution of all classroom and outdoor activities |
 | Responsible for the welfare, health and safety of the children in assigned
group |
 | Supervision of children at all times |
 | Meal time activities of group, including eating with children |
 | Responsible for daily attendance records, menus, lunch/nap |
 | Training and constructive utilization of assigned staff members |
 | Maintaining a clean and well organized classroom |
 | Providing the children with teacher-made activities |
 | Encouraging creative and constructive use of materials in classroom |
 | Maintain a client focused attitude at all times |
 | Uphold Kiddie Academy quality standards |
