Assistant Teacher

Qualified candidates must possess a High School Diploma

Assistants to the Head of Groups for six (6) week to three (3) year olds must have at least one year of specific experience and/or training in infant or toddler care.

Authorized Background Check for Child Abuse and Neglect from NYS Department of Social Services, along with Pre-employment physical and TB Test.

Fingerprinting by NYS.

Must be at least 19 years of age.
Must read, write and speak English

 General Duties: 

bulletAssisting in the daily planning and execution of all classroom and outdoor activities
bulletAssisting in the welfare, health and safety of the children in assigned group
bulletAssisting Bathroom Supervision
bulletAssisting in meal time activities of group, including eating with children
bulletAssisting other staff in cleaning of center
bulletAssisting in the maintenance of a clean and well organized classroom
bulletMaintain a client focused attitude at all times
bulletUphold Kiddie Academy quality standards
